Thinking about the future.

Course tutor, Jim Waterson, has decades of experience as a woodland manager, taught Forestry and Forestry Products at university level and is an independent woodland advisor. The course will be tailored to individuals needs and participants are encouraged to bring and share details of woodlands they are familiar with.

The course is classroom-based at the Green Wood Centre with visits to varied local woodlands. It will lead to accreditation at Level 3 with AIM*, subject to submission of a completed course workbook for marking and assessment.

* AIM Qualifications and Assessment Group merged with Open College Network West Midlands on September 1, 2022, to become one awarding organisation. Through the merger, AIM’s qualifications portfolio expanded and now includes almost 600 recognised qualifications across a wide range of subject areas and levels.
