Learning & skills

We run all sorts of courses at Hollybush!

A range of nature based courses from gardening & conservation, to basket making or woodwork, there is something inspiring for everyone. Weekend or seasonal/family courses can be booked and paid for through our Eventbrite page, and our free or low-cost Adult Community Learning courses can be booked at the Leeds Learning Hub – type LS5 into the search!

Full details of all courses are below, or you can contact us at hollybush@tcv.org.uk or on 0113 2742335. Alternatively if you would like to be updated when new courses are available, then please subscribe to our course mailing list at the bottom of this page.

Adult Community Learning

TCV Hollybush are delighted to work with Leeds City Council who offer adult learning courses in welcoming community venues to help unemployed and low-waged residents.

Our courses aim to teach you new skills, improve your health and increase your confidence.

Courses are part-time, generally one day a week for five weeks.

Courses are FREE if you live in West Yorkshire and receive income related benefits or are on a low income. Evidence MUST be provided BEFORE the course starts. For others, fees range from £8 – £90 depending on the length of course (reductions for those in receipt of State Pension).
