We are delighted to extend an invitation for your participation in the second global RECLAIM Network Plus Conference at The Barbican on Thursday, May 23, 2024, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (BST) in collaboration with the Ecosystems Knowledge Network and Institute for Sustainability (Surrey).
This event offers a unique opportunity to share best practices around blue, green and grey infrastructures with city officials, business and industry professionals, NGOs, and academics who share a passion for fostering greener, more resilient, and prosperous communities. Additionally, it will showcase artists work around GBGI, research conducted within the network, and you will hear from councils sharing their experience of implementing GBGI policies in their community.
Funded by a £1.45m EPSRC/NERC/AHRC grant, RECLAIM (Reclaiming Forgotten Cities – Turning cities from vulnerable spaces to healthy spaces for people) is led by the University of Surrey's Global Centre for Clean Air Research (GCARE), in collaboration with the UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology, Universities of Bath, Bangor and Warwick.
The RECLAIM Network Plus serves as a comprehensive resource for towns and cities seeking information and support to implement green and blue infrastructure in their communities. It also facilitates connections with others sharing similar experiences.
Complete instructions and additional information about the day will be provided to all registered participants before the event. If you encounter any registration issues or have inquiries about the conference, feel free to reach out to info@reclaim-network.org.
