Stakeholder Engagement

Why dialogue matters

Our approach to facilitation is unique and is what sets us apart. Our process design expertly combines a mix of participatory learning and knowledge-sharing techniques. Processes can vary from a single workshop to multiple workshops, involve anything from 8 to 160 people, and range from scenarios with high tension to those with none, across cultures, languages and interests.

The work we do helps communities make better decisions, maximises their resources for action and provides projects with greater momentum. To find out more about our work take a look at our case studies. We truly believe the work we do makes a huge difference to people and the planet. But don’t just take our word for it! Have a look at what others say about our work.

Sharing knowledge internationally

We are proud to have shared our knowledge internationally by working with a huge variety of countries, each with different cultures and challenges. Some topics we have worked on include protected area management on land and at sea, developing climate adaptation strategies, and bridging the gap between science and policy for international organisations.

This map demonstrates the countries we have collaborated with, which includes: Anguilla, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Jordan, Kenya, Mediterranean, Northern Ireland, Norway, Paris, Poland, Scotland, South Africa, Tanzania, Turks and Caicos Islands, Wales”

When we ask our clients and training attendees what hindered them most when trying to engage in full stakeholder participation, and the overriding response was time and money – confidence and knowledge didn’t get a single vote! We want to give some solutions to this, so here goes!
