Classroom-based training

QGIS is a freely available Geographic Information System (GIS) software package that can prove invaluable for bat groups and particularly Bat Group Recorders.

Course content includes:

  • How to use the FSC Tom.bio productivity tools plugin for QGIS to work with Ordnance Survey grid references
  • Spatial data analysis
  • Step-by-step work-through of useful techniques for bat groups handling survey data.
